Designed with the trucker in mind this unit has a wide range of useful functions. It is also a bit cheaper than some competitors and has an internal battery and a USB cable for full backups of user data.

This unit also has a thin and light 7 inch high definition touch screen display and is very easy to use. It features truck-optimized route guidance, live and predictive traffic congestion information and free lifetime map updates. It also features access to Cobra's national database of speed trap locations.

One of the more interesting features of this unit is it's iRadar system. This allows the user to mark radar detected locations on the maps. This is a great way to help other drivers avoid known speed trap areas. It also shows the current road speed limit based on your truck's DOT ratings.

Another feature of this unit is it's lane assist technology that alerts the driver when it is time to change lanes. This is a nice safety feature that could save many truckers from costly accidents on the highways.

The Cobra 8500 Pro HD is a great GPS for truckers. It has a nice wide and bright high definition touch screen display that is very easy to use. It comes with a windshield mount and an internal battery. It is also very easy to back up all user data with the included USB cable and software.

This is a very good value for the price. It has a lot of the same hardcore gaming tech that Razer uses in their Basilisk V3 and DeathAdder V3 Pros like HyperSpeed Wireless, up to 4,000Hz polling, Focus Pro 30K Optical Sensor, Gen-3 switches and "under glow" chroma RGB LEDs. The only thing that it doesn't have is the symmetrical design that makes it easier for right-handed users.
