Diamond Z4 Review

The diamond z4 is a very low quality ring that can be purchased online. It is made from cubic zirconia which has a very bad reputation, although it actually deserves a better one. This man-made stone can withstand a lot of pressure and can last a lifetime with the proper care. However, it’s not as tough as diamond and can break if dropped on hard surfaces.

The new Black Diamond Z4 cams came out earlier this year and have been well received by trad climbers. They combine the flexibility of BD’s old C3 cams with the narrow heads and stiffness of the X4 cams. They also have unique color coding to easily identify the right sized cam when you are pumped out on a crux move and can save you those crucial seconds that could make the difference between a send and an unrecoverable fall.

Another great feature of the z4 is its flex when placed which reduces the chance of it walking on directional pulls. This flex is achieved by independently floating trigger wires. The twisted cable design in the larger sizes allows for this flex while the smaller sizes have single cable construction to reduce the trigger profile and avoid buckling under a high amount of stress.

While the infomercial does not present it as an engagement ring, many customers use the diamond z4 as a wedding ring. The ring is very cheap and looks just like a real diamond, which makes it an attractive choice for those on a budget. However, the low durability and cheapness of this product make it not worth the purchase.
