Walking believe it or not was one of the most commonly used modes of transportation back in the day. Emperors used to walk for miles and miles to get from one city to the next.
2. Carriage
Carriages used to be popular and people used to travel in them to go to school and work believe it or not.
3. Horses
Did you know many people used to ride horses to and from work? A horse can actually travel pretty far. According to Urban Splatter, they can travel as far as 25-30 miles in just a day.
