Fall Guys took the gaming world by storm when it released in 2020, and it has since gone on to become a free-to-play hit across Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and the Epic Games Store. With the game now a popular multiplayer title, fans have been wondering whether or not it supports split screen and couch co-op play. Unfortunately, the answer is no, as the developers have not implemented local multiplayer or split screen functionality in the game at this time.
While it may be disappointing that the game does not currently support split screen play, the good news is that there are other ways to enjoy the game with friends. For instance, the game does now offer cross-platform support, meaning that players on different platforms can join the same lobby and compete against each other. To do this, simply launch the game and then select the social menu (by pressing the touchpad on PS4, View button on Xbox, or the icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen on Nintendo Switch) and then enter your friend’s Epic Games account username into the search bar.
In addition to the cross-platform support, the game also offers cross-progression, meaning that your progress in the game will be saved to your Epic Games account and you can easily pick up where you left off on another device. This is a great feature to have in a multiplayer game like Fall Guys, and it should help to make the experience more enjoyable for players.
