Does LinkedIn Have Read Receipts?

The professional social media portal LinkedIn has more than 930 million users worldwide. It offers a platform to connect with colleagues and potential clients. It also offers various messaging and InMail features. Unlike other popular messaging apps such as WhatsApp or TikTok, LinkedIn doesn’t have the two blue ticks that show when a message has been read by the other person. This may be because the messages sent on LinkedIn are more important than those on other platforms. However, the question does linkedin have read receipts still arises.

The answer is yes, but you need to enable it. This feature can be enabled from the settings page of the website or the mobile app. You have to tap the “Me” icon at the top of your profile, select “Settings and Privacy,” and then scroll down to the “Data privacy” section and choose “Read receipts and typing indicators.”

When this option is active, you can see if and when someone has read your message. You can also see if they are typing a response. This feature is especially useful when you are trying to build new relationships and want to know whether or not the other person is interested in your conversation.

The feature is not for everyone, though. Some people may feel uncomfortable knowing that their messages are being read, and it could put them under pressure to reply immediately. In addition, it can be distracting when you are trying to focus on work or other tasks.
