The company, which was founded in 1992 by Markus Fest and was based in Munich, Germany, until 2018 when it was sold to CORSAIR Components. Elgato designs, manufactures and markets consumer technology products for streaming, recording and live gaming. They produce a number of different types of products, including capture cards, video encoders and streaming media servers. They also provide a variety of accessories for their devices.

The latest capture card from Elgato is called the HD60 X and it's aimed at gamers with next-gen consoles. It features 1080p 60fps capture quality, 4K HDR passthrough and works with all major apps.

In order to use the HD60 X, you'll need a PC that meets certain requirements. These include a 6th generation Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 7 processor, 8GB of RAM and a GeForce GTX 10-series GPU. The capture card also supports a variety of input formats, including HDMI, USB-C and S-Video.

Elgato has been a long-time player in the field of game capture and streaming and their latest offering looks to be a powerful option. Its design is a bit different than previous capture cards with the ports being located at the back of the device, which will make it easier to position on a desk during recording.

Sadly, Elgato only ships to a limited number of countries. If you're looking to buy one of their products and are not located in the US, you'll need to use a shipping forwarder. This is a service that will give you a US address, which you can then use to purchase items from any store that ships to the US. One of the best and most reliable forwarders is MyUS.
