ergo embrace review

Merges the coziness of a soft wrap with the simplicity of a soft structured carrier- no complicated wrapping or tying involved! It is comfortable and easy to use from birth to toddlerhood. It is hip-healthy and ergonomic and features a cushioned head support for infants up to 1 year. It is compact and lightweight (480g) – easily fits in your change bag when not in use.

The ergo embrace is easy to put on and take off with only three buckles to secure. It is also easy to switch between newborn and baby seating modes- simply fold the waist belt in half and follow the visual instructions on the inside of the carrier or on the ergobaby website for the correct positioning.

This carrier is a bit less versatile than other ergobaby models such as the Omni 360 or Baby Tula Explore. It is only suitable for newborns and infants up to 12-18 months and does not have the back carrying position that is recommended for older babies and toddlers. However, this doesn’t detract from the ergo embrace’s overall functionality and usability.

Embrace is designed for the parent who loves the feel, snuggle and squish of a stretchy wrap but wants the ease and user-friendliness of a soft-structured carrier. It is also a great option for petite parents who may struggle to get a snug fit with some of the other Ergobaby carriers that feature a wide range of adjustment options.
