As a game that encourages Guardians to craft build using mods and Exotic gear, Destiny 2 allows for a great deal of customization. However, not all Exotic gear is created equal. Some are geared toward PvE and others are more useful for taking down enemies in the Crucible. One such Exotic is the Eye of Another World. This helmet can be obtained through beating the Riptide main mission on Titan and selecting it from Sloane as a reward.
Unlike many other Exotic helmets that only benefit certain subclasses, this helmet is a solid catch-all choice for Warlocks. Its perk, Cerebral Uplink, highlights priority targets and improves the regeneration rate of grenade, melee and Rift abilities. It also provides a small boost to airborne effectiveness, meaning that you will be more accurate and have a better aim assist while firing weapons in the air.
While it might not be as good as Karnstein Armlets or Necrotic Grips, which are both excellent choices for melee-centric Strand builds, it's still a solid option. It's particularly great for Stasis Warlocks, as it greatly helps you keep the battlefield under control with Bleak Watcher turrets and freezing melee attacks.
The Eye of Another World is a decent catch-all option for Warlocks, and it's well worth checking out. If you don't happen to have it on your character, don't worry, as you can get it as a random world drop, through an Exotic Engram decryption or even from Xur, who sells the helm every weekend.
