Famous People Who Mocked God in the Titanic

The Bible warns against mocking God, saying that a man reaps what he sows. Despite this warning, many famous people have mocked God and faced tragic consequences. The Titanic was one of the most famous examples of this. Many famous people were on board the ship when it sank, and many of them lost their lives.

The shipbuilder of the Titanic, Thomas Andrews, was asked about the ship’s safety. He sarcastically replied that “even God could not sink this ship”. The Titanic then went down on its maiden voyage, killing hundreds of people.

During the disaster, many people sacrificed their own lives to help others. This included women, children, and the poorest passengers. However, the rich tended to survive more than the poorer classes. This was similar to the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, where the wealthy seemed to fare better than the poor.

During the disaster, a pastor named Jack Harper was heard shouting “women, children, and the unsaved into the lifeboats.” Then he gave up his own life vest to save a woman. Unfortunately, he died in the water. In addition, a Brazilian composer and singer known as Cazuza was accused of mocking God by blowing smoke into the air while uttering the words “God, that’s for you.” He later died from lung cancer.
