Fear the Walking Dead's eighth and final season will debut on May 14 and will feature 12 episodes split across two six-episode blocks - so the first half will premiere first while later this year the other six episodes will go out.
AMC made this announcement at its TWD Universe panel at the Television Critics Association winter press tour, and fans are already anticipating how AMC+ will handle its final season. Instead of premiering one episode per week earlier on AMC+, AMC will broadcast all episodes simultaneously over its streaming platform.
Michael Satrazemis (known for several critically-acclaimed TWD Universe episodes), Heather Cappiello and other new directors will join Michael Satrazemis to hopefully ensure an exceptional Season 8.
Fear the Walking Dead's season 7 finale saw Morgan Jones (Lennie James) and Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) captured by PADRE, an unknown group kidnapping children for unknown purposes. Madison managed to escape, though, and later returned with Wren (Zoey Merchant). Their goal is to rescue Morgan's daughter Mo, but that will prove no simple task.

The trailer showcases many tension-filled moments between Morgan and Madison as they work towards saving Mo.
