Destiny 2 players will soon be able to add characters from the sci-fi shooter into their roster of cosmetics, according to Fortnite danaminer Ginsor and Push Square reports. Black Knight, Drift, and Omega skins will reportedly appear on Sparrow gliders and sword pickaxes from Epic Games' battle royale game.
Black Knight
Fortnite may often come under criticism for being too cross-over, but Bungie and Epic Games appear to be working together to bring some iconic Fortnite skins over to Destiny 2. According to Destiny 2 dataminer GinsorKR on Twitter, three Guardian armor sets have been leaked based off Black Knight outfit (Tier 70 reward), Drift outfit, and Oblivion Outfit from Fortnite item shop purchase.
These outfits will be available to Titans, Warlocks and Hunters and come equipped with a Targe back bling, Crown-Splitter Pickaxe and Sparrow glider.
Drift
Bungie and Epic Games have joined forces to bring Destiny 2 to the Epic Store and Fortnite into Destiny 2. In addition to Fall Guys skins for Destiny 2, there will be a Creative map themed after Destiny, plus new Javelin-4 back bling available exclusively on Epic.
Ginsor first noticed this crossover while researching Destiny data mining. On Twitter he posted images depicting three armor sets which seemed similar to Fortnite skins including Black Knight, Drift and Omega.
Reliable Fortnite leakers have confirmed Ginsor's claims. According to these leakers, these skins will reportedly be available as armor ornaments that can be purchased with Bright Dust in Titan, Warlock and Hunter classes.
Omega
Bungie made another major announcement at GamesBeat Summit's Destiny Showcase livestream on August 23: Fortnite skins will soon be available in Destiny 2's Eververse store. This announcement came during Lightfall expansion reveal and cinematic reveal.
Players in Destiny 2 can unlock Drift, Black Knight and Exo Stranger as Fortnite skins for Titans, Hunters and Warlocks respectively as Fortnite outfits in Fortnite. Each will come complete with their own Sparrow glider and sword-based pickaxe; plus each character will get their own Ghost backpack!
Zavala
Bungie's Destiny 2 is getting some Fortnite love with Zavala, Ikora and Exo Stranger character skins debuting today at Destiny 2 Showcase 2022. Additionally, an Investigate Emote was unveiled during this crossover event.
Titan, Warlock and Hunter skins will feature custom pickaxes, gliders and back blings crafted especially for them; Exo Stranger skin will include an exclusive Sparrow; Ikora and Zavala skins will each include unique Gilders for extra style points. All three can be bought now for 1500 V-Bucks (12 dollars). It forms part of Legends of Light and Dark Set.
Ikora Rey
At 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT today, August 23rd, a Destiny 2 crossover is arriving to Fortnite's Item Shop with three popular Guardian skins from Destiny 2, including Titan Commander Zavala, Warlock Ikora Rey and Exo Stranger.
These skins each come equipped with unique back bling, pickaxes, and Sparrow gliders; Exo Stranger comes complete with its own Investigate Emote that summons a ghost-like figure to survey an area for information.
Epic Games and Bungie have joined forces to produce a brand-new Fortnite Creative map based on Javelin-4 Crucible map for this collaboration, along with Destiny 2 themed armor sets for Black Knight, Drift, and Omega classes - which can now be purchased.
Exo Stranger
Bungie and Epic Games have joined forces for a Fortnite Destiny 2 crossover featuring Black Knight, Ikora Rey and Exo Stranger as in-game outfits. Also featured is the brand new Sparrow glider/pickaxe combination as well as an Investigate Emote to complete their look.
Exo Stranger outfits can be found for 1,500 V-bucks each in the Item Shop or as part of Legends of Light and Dark bundle for 2,700. She also made an appearance in Beyond Light expansion as an extra character!
The collaboration also features Destiny ornaments designed specifically for Titans, Warlocks, and Hunters as well as a new Javelin-4 Crucible map and celebratory emoticons in Fall Guys emotes.
