With powerful tech, better screens and user-friendly controls, it’s no wonder Garmin has become one of the top fish finder brands on the market. The Striker Plus 4 is no exception to this trend, and with its sleek design and premium features, it has quickly become a favorite among anglers.

The Garmin Striker 4 comes with a transducer and a carrying case, which makes it easy to transport. It also has a bright, sunlight-readable display and CHIRP sonar that provides clear images of underwater objects and structures. Plus, it has built-in GPS functionality, which lets you mark waypoints and create routes. It can also record your boat speed and water temperature. With Quickdraw contour mapping software, you can create custom HD fishing maps.

Despite its compact size, the Striker 4 is durable and can be used in freshwater or saltwater. It has an IPX7 waterproof rating, which means it can withstand splashes or even a brief immersion of up to one meter. It also has a rugged, rubberized housing and can be easily mounted to a kayak or other watercraft.

Although it’s a great option for anglers on a budget, the Striker 4 does have some minor flaws. For one, its screen resolution is lower than that of the Striker 4, which can cause a noticeable difference in the image quality. It also lacks the Quickdraw contour mapping functionality of its predecessor. Luckily, Garmin has plenty of other products on offer for anglers who want more from their fish finder.
