The combination of ginseng and coffee provides your body with a rich source of energy that keeps you sharp throughout the day. It is also useful for those with a lack of sleep as it can give you the extra energy to stay awake. This is perfect for those who need to work long hours or even those who want to stay adventurous after retirement.
The Health Sciences Authority has issued a warning to consumers to steer clear of Coco Curv, Choco Fit and Hamer Candy, which are powdered drinks and candy that have been banned before but resurfaced in new packaging. All three products contain sibutramine, a prescription drug to aid weight loss that was banned in Singapore in 2010 for increasing the risk of heart attack and stroke. Hamer Candy contains nortadalafil, which is chemically related to tadalafil, the brand name for the erectile dysfunction medication used by men. Consuming tadalafil improperly can cause low blood pressure and painful or overly prolonged erections.
The HSA said it had notified Qoo10 of the banned products and removed them from its listings within three hours after the announcement. It added that the agency conducts weekly checks on online shops to ensure they do not sell prohibited items. For the avoidance of doubt, HSA advises consumers to check with the respective online shops before buying any powdered drinks or candy for their own safety.
