Amazon Kids Plus, or FreeTime Unlimited as it used to be known, is a great service that provides kids with a wealth of entertainment and educational content in a safe environment. However, for some families, the monthly or annual cost becomes too much. Fortunately, there’s an easy way to cancel your Amazon Kids subscription, and you’ll even be able to get a refund for any portion of your membership that you won’t use.
You can cancel your Amazon Kids+ subscription through the parent dashboard on your Amazon account or by using the Amazon app on your phone. The process is straightforward, and you can do it at any time. To start, go to your parent dashboard on your phone or computer, and select “Your Memberships and Subscriptions.” This will show you all of the subscriptions that you have signed up for, including Amazon Kids.
Selecting the option to cancel your subscription will prompt you to choose a reason for why you want to cancel. This will be added to your account to keep track of your reasoning, and it will help Amazon improve their customer services moving forward.
After selecting your reason, you’ll be asked to confirm the cancellation. Once you’ve confirmed, your subscription will be canceled and you will not be charged for the remainder of your billing cycle. You’ll still have access to the content you already purchased, and you’ll be able to use your remaining balance towards other purchases on Amazon.
