How has internet technology affected the method by which marriages are arranged among south asians?

During interviews, most respondents said that they believed that arranged marriages were better than love marriages. They often gave the example of young people who fall in love at school and then elope without giving their future any thought. They felt that a good aspect of arranged marriages was that couples are prepared to marry each other and that their parents take the time to find a suitable match.

The internet is a global network of interconnected networks. These include high-capacity backbone networks, regional networks, commercial networks and local area networks that connect millions of home computers, mobile phones and other devices. The internet is also made up of web servers that store data. Your web browser (for example, Chrome or Firefox) sends requests to these web servers when you click on a website. The servers then return the website information to your browser, which displays it on your screen.

Respondents pointed to three broad factors that they believed were driving changes in family life: educational expansion, technological change and foreign influence. However, they did not talk about these factors equally.
