Whether you’re travelling for work or going on vacation, Netflix downloads let you bring your favorite shows with you without using up your data. But do you know how long Netflix downloads last? If you’ve ever had to rewatch a downloaded TV show or movie because of time constraints, you may have found that it expired before you could do so.

The expiration period for Netflix downloads can vary between titles, but it’s typically less than seven days. You can find the amount of time left on a particular title by visiting the Downloads page in the Netflix app or by navigating to that title’s detail screen. If you’re unable to watch a downloaded title before it expires, you can always re-download it if you have the option available to you.

When you see a Netflix title with the “Available for Download” icon (downward arrow) next to it, you can download it to your device for offline viewing. You can view up to 100 active downloads per device, depending on your subscription plan.

The duration of downloads depends on a number of factors, including the content and its licensing agreements. However, the majority of Netflix downloads are accessible for a maximum of 30 days from the date you first watched them, and 48 hours after your initial press play. This is to ensure that you can always watch the content you’ve downloaded, even if your Netflix subscription expires before you get to finish watching it.
