Despite what most people think, learning to juggle is very doable. With a little dedication, most people can master the basic three ball cascade in just 20 minutes to an hour of practice each day. The more you practice, the more flawless your pattern becomes and the quicker you will be able to move on to other patterns and tricks.
Before you start trying to juggle with 3 balls, spend some time working on your single ball throwing and catching. This step is a pillar to your success and will make it much easier to progress on to the next steps, especially once you can juggle 3 balls without dropping any of them!
Once you can juggle one ball for at least 30 seconds without dropping it, you can start working on adding a second ball to your routine. The best way to do this is to practice the same pattern you learned in step 1, but add a second throw just before the first ball peaks. This will require a bit of practice, but it is well worth the effort as it will greatly improve your overall juggling ability!
After you have mastered the two ball pattern, it is time to add a third. This is where the real fun starts, as this is when you can truly start to juggle! Just keep in mind that you will still need to be very careful about dropping the new ball, and it is important that you have enough space for your hands and body to perform the movements.
