how long is the iphone 12

The iPhone 12 is an impressive, well-designed and durable smartphone with plenty to offer. The camera is impressive, 5G service is now available, and MagSafe makes for an interesting option. While not necessarily the greatest iPhone ever made, the 12 is certainly worthy of consideration and can give users years of enjoyment.

This year's iPhone 11 is of similar size and shape, yet thinner, lighter, narrower, with sharper, more angular edges for an industrial look. Apple moved the power button over to the right side while volume buttons moved left; there are microphone holes and speaker slots as usual; Apple moved SIM slot underneath; there are antenna bands at top; US models additionally include an additional mmWave antenna that only really proves useful if there are 5G networks nearby.

The iPhone 12 features an A14 chip, which is much faster than previous generations' A13 chips and which enables some new camera features such as Portrait mode with blurred backgrounds and Portrait Lighting for adjusting lighting effects, HDR 3 capture for realistic images, scene recognition that optimizes photos for different subjects and front-facing selfie camera that recognizes edges more easily for creating natural bokeh effects.

Battery life on this smartphone is long enough to support heavy use and better than most other smartphones on the market when utilized more sparingly.

The iPhone 12 can charge to 50% within 30 minutes with its 20W wired charger, making it one of the fastest phones out there. That is significantly faster than older 15W MagSafe chargers and much improved over USB-C charging of previous generations. Furthermore, wireless charging support is supported and compatible with most Qi accessories but will not work with AirPower charging mat that Apple plans on releasing next year.

The iPhone 12 features an aluminum and glass back, while its front features a liquid crystal display (LCD) with a resolution of 2,532x1,170 pixels at 460ppi for HDR video playback and wide color gamut support. While not as vibrant or bright as an AMOLED screen on Pixel 2 XL phones, it still looks fantastic!

The iPhone 12 is an incredible smartphone with a stunning camera, solid performance and stunning display. While expensive, its price makes it feel fresh and ready to stand the test of time for years to come. In addition, its special features such as MagSafe and wider deployment of 5G make it increasingly valuable over time - although its unbreakability and scratch resistance may require case and screen protector use regardless. Also keep in mind it may not work with magnetic medical devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators, so keep that device away when using it.
