How Much Does an iPhone Weigh?

The iPhone is one of the world’s most popular phones, and for good reason. It’s incredibly easy to use and offers great functionality. However, with Apple’s iPhones getting bigger and bigger every year, their weight is also increasing. As of 2020, the heaviest iPhone is the iPhone 11 Pro Max, which weighs over 6 ounces. This is a significant increase over the previous model, which weighed 6.84 ounces (194 grams).

It’s unclear how much the rumored new iPhone 15 Pro models will weigh, but they’re expected to be lighter than their predecessors thanks to a switch to titanium. That’s a lot lighter than the stainless steel that Apple currently uses in its Pro phones, and it should also make the phones more durable.

If rumors are correct, the new iPhone 15 Pro and its smaller sibling will be the lightest iPhones you can buy. But despite their lower weight, they’re still expected to be more expensive than competing Android devices like the OnePlus 7 Pro.

To determine how much your iPhone weighs, you’ll need a scale that weighs in grams and a flat, smooth surface to set it on. You’ll also want to have your iPhone and a piece of paper so you can write down the weight. Once you’ve got all of that, start by setting your scale on the flat, smooth surface and activate its “Tare” function if it has one. Next, place your iPhone on the weighing platform and then carefully record the weight in grams.
