For the Olympians at the 2022 Winter Games in Beijing, travel entailed a lot of robots—robots that cooked and served noodles, rice and burgers, roamed hallways to take the temperatures of passersby, and even passed the Olympic flame underwater. For most people, however, travel means bringing along technology that’s both mobile and wireless. That means a laptop, tablet or smartphone that can work untethered from a power source and that can easily be synchronized with a desktop or company server.
