The Apple TV app on macOS, iOS and tvOS makes renting or purchasing movies and television shows, streaming content from other services like Netflix and Hulu as well as taking advantage of advanced playback features to maximize viewing pleasure. You can even share them using Apple ID with family and friends!

Before watching Apple TV on your MacBook, it must first be authorized. Authorizing is an easy three-step process: first ensure that macOS is up-to-date, open Apple TV app and click "Account", select "Authorizations" then enter Apple ID/password combo before finally hitting "Authorize This Computer" to grant access to iTunes/App Store accounts on MacBook.

If you use one Apple ID across multiple devices, it's essential that you keep track of which computers you have authorized. If more than five computers have access to iTunes Store purchases, one of them must be deauthorized before authorizing another - especially important if selling or giving away your MacBook! You can easily see how many computers have been authorized in Account information's Computer Authorizations section.

To authorize your MacBook for Apple TV, it is essential that it is connected to a reliable Wi-Fi network and updated to the most up-to-date versions of both Apple TV and MacBook software. If you are still experiencing difficulties connecting, troubleshooting may be required - this could include issues with wireless router or connectivity issues on either end.

Once your MacBook is updated with the most up-to-date software, you can begin the authorization process by opening Apple TV app and clicking "Account". Here you will be asked for your Apple ID and password before being asked to authorize your computer - once complete you will be able to watch movies and TV shows that have been purchased on it!

If you don't already own an Apple TV, purchase one through Apple Online Store and connect it with your MacBook for instant movie and TV show viewing! Staying current on all of your favorites by connecting an Apple TV is a great way to keep abreast of new releases while staying current on popular shows and films!

If you are having difficulties connecting your MacBook to Apple TV, a few possibilities could include new Ethernet or Wi-Fi cables or an alternate wireless network connection. Restarting your laptop or Apple TV may also help. Ultimately if these measures do not resolve the problem you can contact the Apple Support team for additional assistance.
