Apple Watch Series 7 is the latest model in the popular smartwatch series from Apple, featuring a range of new design features and improved communication and interaction options. It is compatible with all the latest iPhone models and runs on the new watchOS 8 operating system, offering a blend of style, performance, and functionality.
One of the most useful features on an iwatch is the ability to block a number from calling or texting you. This can be especially helpful if someone is constantly harassing you or if you want some peace and quiet in your life. It is also helpful if you are concerned about your child or elderly parent using their paired Apple Watch to contact people who may not be safe or appropriate.
It's easy to block a number on your iwatch by opening the Watch app on your iPhone and selecting Messages. From here, select the conversation that you wish to block and then swipe left on the screen to see two options. Select 'Block Contact' to stop calls, texts and FaceTime messages from this person.
If you'd rather not block this person but still don't want to receive their calls or texts, you can also choose to silence unknown and spam callers by tapping Settings, Phone, then select a contact and scroll down to the bottom of the page to tap Block Calls From. This will stop calls from contacts other than those on your favorites list and send any unknown or spam callers directly to voicemail.
