How to Blur Background on Teams

If you're participating in a video call or meeting, you can blur your background on teams, which can be helpful if you're in a distracting environment or want to maintain privacy. To use this feature, click the controls during a call and then select "Background effects." You can choose to blur your image, upload your own background, or add a Microsoft-provided background. Then, click "Preview" to see how the background will look to the other participants before you apply it.

You can also use this feature to remove your background, which can be useful if you're recording a screencast or presenting. You can also try out a transparent function that makes your background transparent so that the other person can see your hands and feet.

The feature is available on all versions of Microsoft Teams and can be used on both the desktop app and mobile apps for iOS and Android devices. To start a new call or join a meeting, hover your cursor across the screen until the toolbar appears, then click the three dots in the bottom toolbar. Then select the person icon, which is your picture in a small window. You can also change your background or replace it with a photo from your library. If you're using an iPhone, you can also blur your background by selecting the options in the bottom right corner of the video preview.
