The popular social media app, Snapchat, recently introduced a premium subscription service called Snapchat plus. For a monthly fee, users can access exclusive features that will improve their experience and customize their content. These new tools include pin chats, custom avatar backgrounds, a friend solar system and a customized Snapchat icon. However, if you decide that these features aren’t worth the price or aren’t for you, you can cancel your subscription in just a few easy steps.
The process of canceling a Snapchat Plus subscription may vary depending on your device and the platform through which you signed up for the service. However, generally, you can cancel your subscription through the settings or management area of the platform. You can also contact the platform’s customer support to find out more about your cancellation options.
When you first sign up for Snapchat Plus, you will get a 7-day free trial. To start your free trial, open Snapchat and tap your profile icon in the top-left corner of the screen. If you’re in a region that supports Snapchat Plus, you will see a gold-tinted banner advertisement for the subscription below your name. Tap the banner to select one of the available subscription terms — one month, six months, or a year. Select your payment option — Apple ID account, Google account, or linked debit or credit card.
Once the free trial has ended, you will be automatically charged $3.99 each month. If you want to stop your automatic charge, you must cancel your subscription before the end of the current period.
