Many eero users encounter wireless connectivity issues from time to time. Fortunately, there is a way to resolve these issues by wiring your eero from wireless to wired. Wiring your eero is simple and ensures that it has a consistent internet connection throughout your home. To get started, you will need the following items:

Start by removing any other network devices from your modem (such as another router or add-ons). Next, connect the Ethernet cable to the gateway eero. Connect one end of the cable to the Internet (or WAN) port on the back of your eero and the other end to an available Ethernet slot on the modem. Once connected, the eero LED will start to blink blue.

Some users have also found that deleting the eero mobile app and then re-installing it can help with some of these issues. However, this is not a permanent solution and can only be used until the issue resolves itself.

You can also connect your eero to your existing wifi network by using Bridge Mode. This will allow your eero to provide backup wifi and will continue to work with Ring devices, including cameras and doorbells. However, this method will require the eero router to have its own network name and password, which could lead to technical complications down the line. For this reason, it is only recommended for Alarm Pro users with certain network configurations.
