How to Change Your Name on Tinder

Tinder is a great way to meet new people and find potential dates. The platform upends traditional dating culture by allowing users to connect with strangers online through photos and brief bios. The basic idea is that you swipe left if you don’t like someone, or right if you do. If you match with someone, the app can then facilitate a conversation or even a date.

However, many people are concerned about the privacy of their information on Tinder and other dating apps. This is why it’s so important to choose your name carefully – if you want to avoid catfishing or other misleading information, your profile needs to reflect who you really are.

The good news is that it is possible to change your name on tinder. If you’re using the standard account, the only way to do this is by changing your name on Facebook. This will automatically update your Tinder name as well.

If you’re using a premium account, you may have more options to change your name. For example, if you’re an Android user with a premium subscription, you can tap the “Edit Info” button to see your profile settings.

This menu will allow you to change your name and age, among other things. Note that the app identifies your age based on the date of birth you enter on Facebook. Therefore, if your Facebook age is incorrect, the application will have trouble matching you with other people in your area.
