iCloud allows you to store data on Apple servers for backing up, syncing and keeping files on multiple devices. However, it can also take up a lot of storage on your iPhone or iPad. You may want to delete useless messages from icloud for space purposes or to keep your device clean. This article will show you how to do so efficiently.

The most efficient way to remove useless messages from icloud is to disable iCloud syncing on the iPhone or iPad. Open the Settings app, tap your name at the top of the screen, and then tap iCloud. If you don’t have 5GB of free iCloud storage, upgrade it for $1/month in the Settings app.

Once you’ve disabled iCloud syncing on your device, you can start deleting conversations that take up a large amount of space in Messages. The top conversations include any text messages with attachments, such as photos, videos, and GIFs. You can also delete attachments in Messages by tapping a conversation, then tapping a paperclip or trashcan icon.

You can also delete conversations on a Mac by opening the Apple Mail app and then choosing your iCloud mailbox. Select messages that you want to remove, then tap Trash at the bottom of the screen.

Once you’ve deleted conversations from iCloud, they will be removed permanently from all of your devices. You can recover them within 30 days by enabling iCloud syncing again in the Settings app.
