AirPods are a popular pair of wireless earbuds that you can use with your iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. They are convenient to use and provide high-quality audio without wires. You can even turn them off by placing them in their case when you’re not using them. However, you may need to disconnect them from all of your devices at some point, such as if you’re selling them or giving them away. This article will show you how to do just that.

Typically, when you connect your AirPods to another device, the audio from the current device automatically switches over to the new one. This feature is intended to make it easy to switch between listening to music on your iPhone or watching a video on your iPad. However, this can be annoying if you want to listen to something on your phone and someone else decides to start watching TV in the same room. In this article, we will show you how to disable automatic device switching on your AirPods so that they remain connected to your phone or tablet only.

To disconnect your AirPods from all of the devices they are paired with, open the Control Center on your phone or iPad and select the AirPlay icon. Then, select the AirPods you wish to disconnect from the list of paired devices.

Once you’ve selected the AirPods you wish to disconnect, tap on the “i” icon next to them and then tap on “Forget this device.” The AirPods will now be disconnected from all of the devices they are paired to.
