Taking air into your belly is by far the best way to get a nice big bloat. Its easy and relatively safe, just be sure to drink plenty of water before and after doing this. You can also try a few other methods like drinking a gallon of water and eating Fiber One bars (this is probably the best option, if you do this be prepared to fart all day long though). Another method is using a lubricated nozzle from a fish tank pump inserted into your anus (it may hurt at first but it goes away quickly) and simply pumping your anus. Its more messy than air but gives much more size and is less painful.
Deflation can be caused by overeating, constipation, gas build up, excessive alcohol consumption or obesity. It can also be caused by a stomach injury or abdominal surgery such as a hernia. Its important to be well hydrated, avoid overeating and exercise regularly to help prevent stomach inflation.

This is because the diaphragm, a muscle that sits underneath your lungs, moves downward with inhalation. This makes your belly expand to make room for oxygen and then contract when you exhale, drawing the oxygen all the way down into the lungs. Incorrect or shallow breathing uses the chest instead of the diaphragm, and is inefficient because it doesn’t allow your belly to fully expand with each breath.
