There are times when you may be required to convert an image or a document into a PDF file on your iPhone or iPad. It could be that your boss has asked you to turn a presentation into a PDF and send it over, or that you need to print a document as a PDF for someone else. Luckily, iOS devices have multiple inbuilt options that allow you to make a PDF without the need for third-party apps or services.
The first way to make a PDF on your iPhone or iPad is to use the Share feature. This is found within most apps and works very similarly to how you would print something on a normal printer. Simply open the app, find the share icon (looks like a box with an arrow pointing upwards) and tap on it.
From here, you will be able to select the file or documents you wish to convert into a PDF and choose where you want it saved to. It can be saved to your Camera Roll, iMessage, any email apps you have installed or even AirDropped to another device.
This method is great for converting photos or screenshots, but if you are looking to create a PDF from an entire webpage or other type of document, you will need to use a more comprehensive tool. The most popular option is PDFelement for iOS, which offers many features for converting files to PDF and editing existing ones.
