When you have too many people on LinkedIn, some of them can share waaay too much information or post way too often. In these cases, there is a quick solution to keep them from cluttering your feed by muting their posts or stories. If you want to stay connected with them but don't want to see their content, here is how to mute someone on linkedin and directions for un-muting them if you change your mind!
You can mute messages in the Chat list by selecting More options > Mute. Note that the conversation is still visible in All Mail, but you will not receive any notifications when other participants reply. You can also pin frequent conversations for quick access by selecting More options > Pin. The conversation will appear at the top of your Chat list and you can unpin it anytime.
You can also mute stories from someone's account by tapping on the three dots in the top right corner of their story and choosing 'Mute Stories' from the options. Just like with muting posts, muted stories will not notify the person whose stories you are muting.
