If you’ve recently purchased a pair of Sony’s new WF-1000XM4 headphones, you may be having trouble pairing them with your phone or tablet. The good news is that it’s easy to fix. To begin with, you’ll need to make sure that your earbuds are fully charged and that they’re in the charging case when not in use. After that, you’ll need to follow the setup instructions in the headphones’ companion app. You can do this by either putting one of the earbuds in your ear or by using NFC to connect with an Android smartphone.

Once you have the earbuds in your ears, press and hold the touch sensor on each of them for five seconds. The LED indicator light on each earbud will start blinking quickly, indicating that they’re in pairing mode. Then, open the Bluetooth settings on your source device and select your earbuds. You should hear a beep in your ears when the connection is complete.

You can also pair the earbuds with your computer by navigating to System Preferences on your Mac. Select the earbuds in the list of available devices and click “Connect.” If you’re asked to enter a passcode, input 0000. Once the earbuds are connected to your computer, you can use them to listen to music and make phone calls. If you encounter any issues during the process, refer to the headphones’ instruction manual for additional information. You can also contact Sony customer support for further assistance.
