The first method to try is to use a paperclip. You’ll want to make sure that the paperclip is thick and strong enough to bend. You’ll also want to make sure that it is bent at a 90-degree angle. Once you have your paperclip ready, insert it into the keyhole and wiggle it around overtop of other parts of the interior structure of the lock until you feel some pressure release or hear some clicks.
The next method is to use a bobby pin. You’ll want to straighten the bobby pin and then insert it into the keyhole. Next, you’ll want to move the bobby pin up and down over the internal pin tumblers until you feel some of them lift. Once you feel a pin lift, simply ease up on the pressure you’re applying to the lever bobby pin and allow the rest of the pins to fall back down.
