From the creators of Exploding Kittens comes Throw Throw Burrito, a wacky card game mash-up where players race to collect sets of cards while ducking, dodging, and throwing squishy toy burritos at one another. Collecting cards earns points while getting hit by burritos causes you to lose points and even get a “burrito bruise”.
The game starts when each player shuffles their card deck and is dealt 15 cards facing down. The first five cards become each player’s personal draw pile while the remaining cards are placed in two community piles on the table. Each player keeps their cards a secret from the other players until they play them.
When a set of three matching cards is played it goes on your Score Pile and the name of the card is called out. Some sets are normal and do nothing while others are “Burrito Cards” that initiate a Battle. If a Battle is declared, all players involved must grab a burrito from the table and then race to throw it at other players. The first player to throw their burrito loses the battle.
If you played a Battle card and are tied with another player for the most points, you must fight in a Duel to break the tie. To do this the two tied players must stand back to back, walk three paces, and then FIRE! The first player to grab and throw their burrito wins the duel.
