Everyone has a favorite game they play or maybe they've seen a hilarious meme they want to share with friends. Whether it's for gaming or social media, taking a screenshot on a droid mini is a quick way to save anything that appears on your screen. There are a few different ways to take a screenshot on Android phones, depending on the manufacturer and operating system, and the type of phone.

One of the most common is to press the power and volume down buttons simultaneously. This will snap a picture of the screen and usually trigger a shutter sound or a notification on the display. You can then access the screenshot from your image gallery (a photo icon or Instant Photo depending on the Motorola model) or Google Photos app. You'll be able to edit or share the screenshot from within the gallery.

Another option is to use the gesture controls on your phone. Many manufacturers allow you to enable palm swipe to capture so that you can simply swipe your hand across the screen to take a picture without having to press any buttons. You can check if your phone supports this feature by going to Settings > Advanced features > Motions and gestures.

Other methods include using a third-party screen capture or image editing app. You can also enable a long screenshot on some models by pressing and holding the power button and the down button for a few seconds. This will create a scrolling screenshot that will appear as a thumbnail in your image gallery or Google Photos app and can be shared or edited from the thumbnail.
