How to See BeReal Without Posting

BeReal is a new app that lets people post pictures of their daily life. The pictures are supposed to be as real and unretouched as possible, but there is a certain amount of editing that can go on.

Bereal is designed to give users a way to share their day-to-day lives with friends and strangers. The idea is to show what you’re doing, where you are, and how you feel on a given day. BeReal does not allow for video, but it does offer the ability to add comments and RealMoji reactions on each picture.

The way BeReal works is that a user will receive a notification each day at a random time, letting them know it’s “Time to BeReal”. When the notification appears, it opens the camera and starts a two-minute countdown. The user then takes a picture of what they are looking at and one of themselves.

When the BeReal is posted, it is shared with both the person’s BeReal circle and the public Discovery page. BeReal will not notify the user if someone takes a screenshot of their picture, but there is an indicator that will appear on the post showing how many times it has been captured.

BeReal is a fun and unique social media platform that offers some interesting privacy controls. Each BeReal can be set to share with only friends or in the public Discovery feed, and users have the option of hiding their location on each photo.
