An SOS feature on your iPhone can be a lifesaver in some situations. It can send emergency alerts using satellite communication. It can even call 911 if you don’t have any cellular service. But what if you or someone else accidentally triggers this feature? This wikiHow article will teach you how to take off sos on iphone.

First, try to restart your iPhone. This can clear software glitches that could be causing the problem. To restart your iPhone, press and hold the home button and the sleep/wake button simultaneously.

If you still see “SOS only” in the status bar, try to reset your network settings. To do this, go to Settings and tap General. Next, tap Reset. Finally, tap Reset Network Settings.

This will force your iPhone to reconnect with a cellular network and may help to fix the SOS only issue. If the problem persists, try to contact your cellular carrier to troubleshoot the issue.

Alternatively, you can disable the SOS feature in the settings app by turning off the “Call with” switch. Doing so will prevent you from calling emergency services by pressing buttons on your iPhone or accidentally triggering an SOS alert by being jostled in your pocket or purse. It will also prevent your iPhone from automatically sending a message to your Emergency contacts with your current location (if this feature is enabled). If you don’t want to disable the SOS feature completely, you can disable the button shortcuts in the Control Center.
