Since its launch in 2012, the Vine video app has taken over social media with 6-second clips of cute animals, funny phrases and artistic mini-movies. Unfortunately, Twitter recently announced that the micro-video platform will be shutting down, which is a huge heartbreak for millions of Vine users all over the world. But don’t worry, your Vines are safe for the time being and you can still upload them to your computer and iPhone using third-party apps.

With only six seconds to capture a viewer’s attention, the audio can make or break a video on Vine. Adding catchy tunes and fun sound clips through third-party Vine soundboard apps is one way to keep viewers hooked and engaged on your videos. Popular Vine soundboard apps include Dubsmash, which offers 115 sounds for free and a premium version that offers more than 400 sounds for $1.99.

Another popular option is VineBoard, which features a different interface compared to other soundboards and provides over 200 sounds for free. The app also allows you to search sounds, reorder and save your favorites.

Both of these soundboards are available for download on both iOS and Windows. They require a minimum of 1 GB of RAM and 100 MB of hard disk space to work properly. They run smoothly on Windows 10 and have no glitches or bugs when tested in our lab. If you’re interested in trying them, click on the links below to download the free trial versions of the apps.
