The HP EliteBook 830 G6 is an ideal workhorse for business users. It features a 13.3-inch 1080P SureView Gen3 panel with a matte finish.

Despite its large display, the HP EliteBook 830 G6 weighs just 1.33 kg. It also features a powerful Intel Core i7-8665U 1.9GHz processor. This processor is great for handling office applications, Netflix, and light Adobe Photoshop. In addition, this device has a battery that lasts almost ten hours.

Aside from the processor, the HP EliteBook 830 G6 includes two memory slots and 16GB of RAM. Another feature of this laptop is the fingerprint scanner, which is a great security feature. Other important security features include Windows Hello, Sure Run, IR cameras for Windows Hello authentication, and a TPM chip.

However, the display of the EliteBook 830 G6 is not as bright as some competitors. While the screen has a matte finish and is able to recognize ten fingers at once, it does not achieve 1000 cd/m2 brightness. Likewise, the speakers are bass-poor.

Also, the screen does not have a good viewing angle. Though it does have a thin bezel, the EliteBook 830 G6 does not have a full-size keyboard. Nevertheless, the keyboard is well-designed and responsive.

With a wide array of features and security tools, the HP EliteBook 830 G6 is a great choice for business users. However, users who require a higher resolution screen should look elsewhere.

Additionally, the EliteBook 830 G6 includes a USB Type-C port and a Kensington lock slot. For those who want to use their laptop in a more rugged environment, the 830 G6 comes with a rubber PointStick pointing device.
