Kenda is a brand of tire that has become well known for its affordable prices that will still deliver above average levels of wet and dry performance. It is also a great choice if you are looking for a budget-friendly alternative to top-of-the-line tires from Michelin and Hankok.

Designed and developed in the USA, the KM1 is Kenda’s first ever sport touring radial and promises exceptional all weather performance at an unbeatable price. State of the art steel belt construction and advanced rubber compound technology have been utilised to produce a high-performing tire that won’t compromise on durability. Additional siping boosts wet weather grip and optimized apex geometry delivers the ideal balance of high speed stability with responsive, nimble handling.

Steering is nimble and accurate at low speeds, and the front feels super-surefooted when pushed hard. They take a little longer than most to warm up but offer loads of feel and linear rate of steering response at slow, medium and brisk riding levels. They track perfectly over big bumps and remain reassuringly surefooted on surface-dressed B-road even when leant over, although they do tend to pick up tramlines and surface markings more than others do. Ride quality is slightly harsher than some of the competition but they never feel numb or disconnected from the road.
