Kevin Hart is one of those guys who is always on the go - he works his regular stand-up show, has several blockbuster movies out or coming out (including Central Intelligence with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson), tours constantly and carries on with the semi-reality TV series Real Husbands of Hollywood. He's also got a family and he typically gets about six hours of sleep each night. So he spends most of his day out of the house and usually comes home between 4 pm and 6 pm for dinner with his wife and kids. He usually eats protein and fats to avoid carbs in the evening and then relaxes with a movie or two with the family before bedtime around 11 pm.
But on Sunday, he changed his tune when discussing the controversial arrest of two men at a Center City Philadelphia Starbucks. Hart told WPVI he's watched the video of the incident and doesn't see why the men were arrested. He said the managers on duty need to be held accountable for their actions and that he's not calling for a boycott of the coffee chain.
This filmed concert special has a brief skit at the beginning with Halle Berry and Don Cheadle that's amusing in spots but not funny. The rest of the show is Hart's usual stream-of-consciousness jokes about his family, his girlfriend, old friends and some pretty raunchy topics. Some of the humor is very hit and miss as it relies on mannerisms, actions and repetitive phrases and impressions to make it work.
