KGF 2 is the sequel to the cult mass blockbuster of last year. The movie is directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films banner. The film has Yash, Raveena Tandon, Sanjay Dutt and Prakash Raj in the star cast. It is the much awaited film among movie lovers and is releasing worldwide on 14th April 2022. The trailer of the film created massive hype and has crossed 250 Million views on YouTube. The movie is a total paisa vasool entertainer and lives up to the expectations. The film is full of action sequences and elevated heroism moments. The cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda is spectacular and the production design is grand. The background score by Ravi Basrur enhances the experience.
The story of the film is similar to the first part. Rocky Bhai creates an army of his own and starts exploring the mines in KGF after eliminating Garuda. But Adheera (Sanjay Dutt) is not willing to give up and wages a war against him. Later on, CBI officer Kanneganti Raghavan (Rao Ramesh) begins investigating the illegal activities of Rocky Bhai and Prime Minister Ramika Sen (Raveena Tandon) starts closing in on him.
Yash gives a sensational performance as always and carries himself with the same intensity and energy. He looks stylish and raw in the costumes. He is ruthless and menacing at times and humane and emotional at other times. Srinidhi Shetty also delivered a power-packed performance. The rest of the cast is decent. Prakash Raj didn’t get a meaty role but managed to impress with his character. Rao Ramesh and Malavika Avinash did well in their limited roles.
