kyocera durascout review

Kyocera has rolled out a lot of rugged handsets over the years, and its latest is an absolute beast. The DuraScout E6782 packs midrange specs in an extremely durable frame that can withstand drops, dirt, water, solar radiation and temperature extremes. The handset also carries the MIL-810G standard, which makes it one of the toughest phones on the market.

The DuraScout sports a 4.5-inch LCD display with HD resolution and Sapphire glass protection. Under the hood, the device is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor running at 1.4 GHz and 2GB of RAM. The smartphone also supports 4G LTE Cat.4 and it comes with a microSD card slot to expand storage.

This rugged phone is a great choice for outdoorsy types, but it may not be the best option for people who plan to use their smartphones for gaming or for heavy applications. It has a limited RAM and a mid-range processor, so it might struggle to keep up with demanding apps or games. That said, it has excellent battery life and 5G support, which is a big selling point for Verizon customers.
