le jeune cream review

Designed to fight the visible signs of aging, Le Jeune Cream is said to promote healthy skin by supporting cellular renewal, deep hydration, and a boost in collagen production. The product claims it can reduce fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin tone and texture, and smooth out rough patches for a brighter complexion. It is marketed as being free of parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, petrolatum, and SLS (sulfates). However, it does contain the chemical ingredient methylparaben, which is considered a safe preservative by the FDA. Mineral oil and petroleum jelly (USP) are also added to help the cream retain moisture. Despite these ingredients, the product is not considered clean by Byrdie’s standards because algae (seaweed) extract appears to be the primary active ingredient and the ingredients are listed alphabetically, so it would be difficult for consumers to know what they’re putting on their face.

The product claims it can erase aging signs and leave the skin looking rejuvenated, but results may vary from one person to another. The formula is infused with antioxidant-rich vitamins and shea butter, which is a natural emollient and moisturizer that can soften the skin. The brand website uses a template that is similar to dozens of other unknown anti-aging products, so it doesn’t inspire confidence in its claim of being clinically proven or effective.

Taking into account the unjustifiably high price, lack of a full ingredient list, and suspicious marketing tactics, this product does not seem like it provides good value for consumers. For a more reliable, effective option, click to see our comprehensive list of the best age-defying creams.
