The LG 32UN650-W is one of the best 4K monitors under $500. It offers excellent color accuracy, an IPS panel, HDR support, a sleek design, and built-in speakers. It also has a light matte anti-glare coating and user-friendly joystick controls. While it lacks a 144Hz refresh rate, it does offer AMD FreeSync. As such, it's a great choice for casual PC gaming and light office work. It's not ideal for serious gaming, however, as it has a low 60Hz refresh rate and slow response time.

Like most other modern LG monitors, the 32UN650-W has slim bezels on all sides. The top and side bezels are only 0.125 inches thick, while the bottom bezel is around 1 inch wide. As a result, the screen takes up nearly all of the available space. The only exception is a small area at the bottom for the company logo and some buttons.

The monitor is VESA mount compatible and has two HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 port, a headphone jack, and dual 5W integrated speakers. It has a plastic build, which is expected for a sub-$500 monitor. The arm and feet are also made of plastic instead of metal, which could cause durability concerns for some users. The monitor's stand can adjust up and down by 110mm and tilt from -5 to 20 degrees. It doesn't rotate vertically, though, which may be a limitation for some users. It also has a round-pin power cable that attaches to a separate power brick rather than being built into the monitor.
