Lucina is a time travel princess in disguise and she's one of the most popular characters from Fire Emblem Awakening. Now you can have her in your collection thanks to a new figma release from Good Smile Company!
Good Smile Company is a Japanese manufacturer of figures that are usually based on video game franchises. They produce both scale figures and Figma. Scale figures are typically bigger than Figma and meant for display rather than play. They may come with posable parts, accessories and alternate faces to replicate specific poses or scenarios from the source material.
The figma range is the best of these and comes with many special joints for dynamic and realistic poses. They're not cheap but are well worth the investment if you like having a collection of these kinds of figures on hand.
Lucina's posability is quite smooth but she can be hindered a little by her long hair, her cape and her shoulder armor pieces (especially the latter) which are sculpted with pegs. It's a bit difficult to get her to stand with the cape on, but with it removed and her short hair equipped she has a wide range of movement without any limitations.
Lucina's articulation is similar to the rest of her Figma line and features deep single hinge elbows, knees and ankles with rotation as well as wrist swivels and rotation. She also has waist and ab articulation, but some of that is slightly hindered by her tunic which extends past her waist.
