mars hydro sp 6500 review

There are a lot of LED bar style grow lights out there and it can be hard to figure out what one is the best for your specific needs. So I decided to check out the Mars Hydro SP-6500 and compare it with a few other options. The SP-6500 is a great choice if you want a high quality light that can help you get top shelf buds (or whatever your plant of choice might be).

It uses 2376 Samsung LM301B Leds and Osram 660 nm chips which are much higher in quality than the old Epistar ones. This means it is much more efficient and has a better spectrum than older blurple lights. It has a 650 Watt power draw which is plenty to cover a 3' x 5' area for veg or a 4' x 6' for flower.

This is a very high-quality light and I was surprised at how powerful it was considering the price. It has a good cooling system with a huge aluminum radiator which is efficient at dissipating heat. It has a dimming knob and can daisy chain up to 15 lights together, which is pretty cool. It is waterproof, which is useful if you are growing in a humid environment.

This is a very well-made light that is easy to use and will work well for any type of plant. I was impressed with the brightness and the fact that it is very quiet. It also has a good warranty and support center, which is a nice touch.
