This heated jacket by milwaukee is a great choice for outdoorsy types who want to stay warm in cold temperatures. The design is sleek and slim, with a discreet battery pack that rests in a designated exterior pocket. The jacket is also water-resistant, so it will keep you dry in light rain or snow. It also comes with a fur-lined hood and thumb straps to keep the cold out.

The jacket uses a new technology that combines a heated vest with a heavy-duty weather resistant outer shell. Powered by M12 REDLITHIUM battery technology, the heated vest and outer shell both use carbon fiber heating elements that distribute heat throughout the chest and back area. The outer shell uses GridIron 900 denier ripstop polyester in high wear areas to outlast the average 12oz cotton duck workwear and features tarnish resistant metal zippers.

In addition to the heating, this jacket has a few other features that make it stand out from its competition. It has a tall front pocket that can fit a water bottle or bulky gloves, and it comes with a fleece cuff that keeps the warmth around your neck and hands. The jacket is also easy to set up and use, with clear directions and a QR code for a video demonstration.

The jacket’s controls sit on the left breast, with one button to turn on the pockets and another to power the chest and back heaters. A long press activates the carbon-fiber heating elements, and a quick press adjusts levels. The buttons illuminate in different colors to indicate which setting is active – blinking red means it’s on the highest level, blue indicates medium heat, and white indicates the lowest setting.
