npap ak review

The npap ak review has all the shooting fun, power and reliability of an AK in a budget friendly package.

The npap ak is an affordable reproduction of the famous Yugo Zastava M70 rifle manufactured by Century Arms International. These N-PAP imports are the civilian versions of the M70 series and are manufactured in the same factory that produced top quality rifles for the former Yugoslavian army like the M70B1 and M70AB2.

This N-PAP model has a 16” barrel, a heavy duty receiver, a collapsible T6 butt stock, black synthetic pistol grip, slant cut muzzle brake and side mounted optics base. They also come with one high-capacity AK magazine and an owners manual.

Another great feature of this AK is that it has a completely chromed bolt, allowing you to use corrosive surplus ammunition without risking corrosion to the rifle’s bolt. It is also one of the only AK models to have this unique feature.

The N-PAP is a heavier AK compared to many other models, but this can be a blessing or a curse depending on your needs. Having an extra ounce or two can mean the difference between a solid truck gun and a useless piece of junk that will get you in trouble at the range or in a crowded combat environment. With the extra weight comes a much better trigger and a more comfortable pistol grip. In addition the N-PAP also features a last round bolt hold open, which is a great feature that won’t find on many other AK style rifles.
