oakley radar ev advancer review

The Radar EV Advancer is a new model of Oakley's highly popular radar range. This updated version adds a nose piece similar to Oakley's Flight Jacket models that pushes the lens further away from your face, aiding airflow to combat fogging when wearing the sunglasses on a hot or humid day.

These frames use Oakley's O-Matter frame material which increases protection, durability and comfort. It has a three-point fit that's designed to only touch your face at the nose bridge and temples to give you a secure and flexible fit.

Another feature of these sunglasses is a Photochromic lens technology which automatically changes the tint to suit changing light conditions. This is ideal for training in bright and low lighting environments as it will adjust to the amount of UV light in your surroundings.

The lenses are also a larger size, meaning they'll offer more coverage from debris and other road debris than the standard Radar EV. They're also specced with Oakley's proven Prizm lens technology, which optimizes contrast and colour perception to ensure you can see every detail around you.

Despite the advancements to this pair of sunglasses, they are still made from the same robust and lightweight O-Matter frame material as all Radar EV models. This means they are a fantastic value offering for riders looking for a pair of Oakley performance sunglasses.

The only thing that's a little bit odd about these glasses is that the Advancer nosepiece protrudes out about 5mm more than the traditional Radar EV nosepiece. I don't think this is a major problem, but it is worth noting.
